MoneyTaker steals 72 mln rbl from Russian banks in 2016–2017
MOSCOW, Dec 11 (PRIME) -- Hacker group MoneyTaker stole around 72 million rubles from Russian banks in 2016–2017, Group-IB, which prevents and investigates cybercrimes, said on Monday.
In this period, the group made 20 successful attacks on banks and other corporate bodies in the U.S., Russia, and the U.K. Specifically, the group made 16 attacks on the U.S. companies, three on Russian banks and one on the U.K.
